Experience

Geoff Semans founded The Original Crafters in 1981 after a 10 year apprenticeship in all phases of building. During this 10 year apprenticeship Geoff was fortunate to work with General Contractor’s who created high quality work while being service oriented. Resonating with these standards he incorporated them into The Original Crafters, and they are an integral part of the business to this day.

Over the last 38 years The Original Crafters has built a large variety of projects including several custom homes, major additions, and offices. They successfully remodeled scores of homes and offices doing everything from kitchens and baths to decks and seismic work and many types of tenant improvement work. They work in a geographic area that covers the majority of the San Francisco Bay Area.

The Original Crafters has highly skilled key employees and subcontractors that maintain a consistent level of quality and service throughout their projects.
